The Otamatone is an electronic musical synthesizer. It was developed in Japan by the CUBE toy company and the Maywa Denki design firm, led by the brothers Masamichi and Nobumichi Tosa.

You can create different sounds and pitches by pressing down on the stem switch of the Otamatone. By sliding down your finger up and down, you can create a lower and higher tone.

The standard model of the note-shaped instrument Otamatone was released in 2009. Plays notes when the stem is pressed and adds vibrato when the mouth is moved. It also allows for octave changes. With a little practice, you perform songs in no time. The perfect choice for Otamatone beginners.
